The time has come for me to leave Bengkulu, Indonesia, and I feel overwhelmed with emotions. This journey has profoundly impacted my life, and I am now acutely aware of how much Bengkulu has become more than just a temporary stop; it has become a second home that has nestled its way into my heart.

The beaches, once just picturesque landscapes, have become my sanctuary. They offer solace from moments of overthinking, and each shoreline has become a thread that connects me back to my roots, bridging the geographical gap between Bengkulu and my home country. The rhythmic sounds of the waves are a constant reminder that life is a continuous process, much like the ebb and flow of the tides.
The serenity of Bengkulu's sunsets has become more than just a visual spectacle. It has become a canvas where I painted memories of the people who became my pillars of support during this journey. As the sun dipped below the horizon, I found solace in the realization that every goodbye is a precursor to a new hello, and the bonds forged here will forever remain etched in my heart. Reflecting on the teachings, learnings, and memories, it's clear that this chapter of the SEA Teacher Program has left an indelible mark on my personal and professional growth. The cultural exchange, connections made, and challenges overcome have sculpted not just a teacher but a global citizen with a broader perspective.

As I bid farewell to Bengkulu, it's not a goodbye in the truest sense but a "see you again." The memories woven into the fabric of this place are not ephemeral; they are enduring imprints on the canvas of my life. The lessons learned from the people, landscapes, and experiences will accompany me back to my homeland, enriching my journey with newfound wisdom and a heart full of gratitude. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Bengkulu for being more than a destination; you have become an integral part of my story. Until we meet again, may your sunsets paint the skies beautifully.
